Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction in power consumption while maintaining convenience.SOLUTION: A controller 100 controls drive mode of a digital recorder that is operated in two drive modes different in power consumption via a home network NT1. A schedule storage unit 112 stores a user schedule table TA21 showing the schedule of a user of a digital recorder. A selection unit 127 selects a drive mode to be set to the digital recorder from the two drive modes on the basis of the user schedule table TA21 which is stored by the schedule storage unit 112. A transmission unit 128 transmits, to the digital recorder, drive mode information instructing to operate in the drive mode which is selected by the selection unit 127.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
