Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a control electrode whose gate on an image forming device such as a duplicator can be formed with high accuracy and at a low cost.
SOLUTION: A first electrode 27 with a first shaped opening part H is formed on one of the faces of substrate for the control electrode, and a second electrode 39 with a second shaped opening part which is larger than the first shaped opening part H is formed on the other face in such a manner that the second electrode 39 is positioned to match the position of the first shaped opening part H. Further, a laser beam of smaller diameter than the first shaped opening part H is emitted to the substrate from the one or the other face side of the substrate in such a way that the laser beam accurately meets the first shaped opening part H. Thus, it is possible to manufacture the control electrode for the image forming device by opening a through hole of a diameter corresponding to that of the laser beam.
