Abstract:
PURPOSE:To precisely set the accessible extent of functions and information permissible to each operator for each NC machine tool by deciding the propriety of a processing request made by each operator on the basis of the permissible extent of processings written on the IC card of each operator. CONSTITUTION:The IC card 300 of an operator carries various kinds of information, such as the kind and number of NC machine tools that can be operated by the operator, the accessible extent and processings allowed to the operator, the accessible extent and processings allowed to the operator for each NC machine tool, etc. When the operator actuates a main control section 110 by inserting the card 300 into an IC card reader 120 and requests a processing by operating a keyboard 140, a decision section 160 decides the approval or disapproval of the request by comparing the extent of processings permissible to the operator sent from an IC card reading and processing section 130 with the requested processing and, when the request is disapproved, outputs the disapproval to a screen display device 180. Therefore, a careful information protective management system can be constructed for a large number of machine tools at every operator.
