Abstract:
PURPOSE: To set each step and thereby obtain a high-quality product without costing upon experiences by first, setting an interplaten distance to a constant value at the time of filling a resin, then maintaining a die clamping pressure at a constant level after switching to a pressure retaining step, further controlling the interplaten distance, and consequently, detecting the initiation of reaching the peak of the die clamping pressure and dropping in the pressure so as to allow the die clamping pressure to be kept at an effectively operating level.
CONSTITUTION: The filling of a resin is initiated and a microprocessing unit 43 controls a pressure control valve 42, detecting a distance using a distance sensor 28 with an initial interplaten distance Lo as a target value. Next, the unit 43 switches the operation to a pressure retaining step, then stores a die clamping pressure P2 at the time of switching in memory 44, and maintains the pressure P2 as a target value. Thus the varying fluidity of the resin is moderated and a distortion is prevented from occurring. In this case, a molding die is opened and the interplaten distance increases. However, the pressure control valve 42 maintains the interplaten distance for initiating restrictions as it is as the target value. Thus burrs are prevented from generating. After that, the die clamping pressure P begins to drop due to the cooling and solidification of the resin. The die clamping pressure P3 is stored in memory 44 and the pressure retaining step is terminated after a specified period of time.
