To provide a technique of suppressing density irregularity in processing halftone.
A printing apparatus includes a dot data generating part and a printing image generating part. The dot data generating part determines a dot forming state for individual printing pixels of a printing image to be formed on a printing medium and generates dot data representing dot forming state determined by half-tone processing performed against the image data which represents a gradation value of individual pixels constituting a previous image. The printing image generating part generates a printing image by mutually combining dot groups formed in each of a plurality of pixel groups in which physical differences are assumed in the dot formation according to dot data. The half-tone processing determines the distribution of the dot number of each of the plurality of the dot groups according to the dot forming sequence thereof in the common printing region.
