Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable delicate and fine control, which is not affected by the change in temperature, for the clutch to be performed, by empolying a pneumatic servo- cylinder for operating the clutch, and controlling the amount of the air depending on the operating condition by a proportional type electropneumatic control valve. CONSTITUTION:The clutch 2 is disengaged when a release lever 5 is rotated in the direction of A with a supporting point 6 as a center. The lever 5 is operated by a servo-cylinder 9 via a rod 7 and an arm 8. The inside of the servo-cylinder 9 is divided into a vacuum chamber 12 and an atmospheric chamber 13 by a diaphragm 11. The vacuum chamber 12 is connected to the outlet port of the proportional electropneumatic control valve 15 via a pipe 14. The inlet port of the control valve 15 is connected to an intake manifold 18 via a vacuum line 17, and is constituted by an electromagnet 43 which is energized by a signal which is fed from an electronic control means 21 to a signal line 20, spools 41 and 42 which are slidably moved by the magnetic power of said electromagnet 43, and a spring 47 which energizes said spools in the closing direction.
