Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve access control inside the execution library of a data processing system.
CONSTITUTION: The identification of groups of all users inside the data processing system, the partial set of selected users inside the data processing system or the group including only one selected user and a substitutive right user designated by that user namely, a substitutive person are established. The identifications of groups are listed inside a related access list for any specified object and listed when the access to a specified object 50 is tried by the user not clearly listed in the related access list, and it is discriminated whether the user is listed inside the identification of the access allowed group or not. The selected object and user are respectively related with allowable levels and when the clearance level of the specified user matches with the clearance level of the selected object or does not exceed that level, the access from the specified user listed in the identification of the group to the selected object is denied.
