Abstract:

To provide a control method of an adhesive applying state in a gasket manufacturing process effective in uniforming application thickness by preventing to the utmost the formation of thick parts and thin parts in application thickness on the surface of a gasket base 2 in a process of applying an adhesive to the base 2.

In the adhesive drying process, insertion pieces 33 of a tool 31 are arranged in a bridging form from parts liable to become thick in application thickness to parts liable to become thin in application thickness so as not to form thick parts and thin parts of application thickness of the adhesive moved on the base 2 by gravity. A passage of the adhesive moving from the parts liable to become thick in application thickness to the parts liable to become thin in application thickness is provisionally set, and a part of the adhesive is moved through this passage to control the adhesive applying state on the base 2.
