Abstract:
PURPOSE:To transfer the goods between guide paths by means of an automatic transfer vehicle by judging whether the transfer is carried out between the different traveling paths or the same paths, performing a transmission/reception operation to a lower rank control means of the traveling path of the remote side when the transfer carried out between different traveling paths is confirmed, and moving a prescribed transfer vehicle synchronously with a transfer vehicle moving means. CONSTITUTION:Each lower rank control means 6 decides whether the transfer of goods is carried out between the different traveling paths or the same traveling paths based on the transfer data given from a host control means 7. When the former transfer is confirmed, a transmission/reception operation is carried out to the means 6 of the traveling path of the remote side. Then a prescribed automatic transfer vehicle 3 is moved synchronously with a turntable 5. That is, the means 6 performs the transmission/ reception operation to another means 6 of the corresponding traveling path after reception of the transfer data from the means 7. Then the prescribed vehicle 3 is moved to the traveling path of the remote side. Thus the goods can be transferred between the traveling paths without partly stopping the vehicle 3.
