Title:
CONTROL METHOD OF COPYING MACHINE BY MICROCOMPUTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5473639
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To always perform smooth copying operation, by setting the timing pulse counter to a specified value when the scanner return switch is turned on as the scanner reaches the final position in the going way.

CONSTITUTION: In a copying machine 6 controlled by a microcomputer 1, is synchronism with the rotation of photosensitive drum 11, regular timing pulses are generated by a timing pulse generator composed of light emitting device and photo detector and slit disc 29. Such timing pulses are counted by CUP 1, and a control signal is issued every time the counting reaches a specified value, thereby performing sequence control. When a scanner 13 reaches the giong way final position and a scanner return switch SW1 operates, the timing pulse counting is set to a specified value, regardless of the counting at the that time. Therefore, even if error is caused in moving time due to unsmooth moving of the scanner 13 or other cause, a normal copying operation is always carried out.
