PURPOSE: To facilitate the easy checking and monitoring jobs by shifting, enlarging and reducing freely the extracting range when each part is extracted out of the display data and displaying them on the same display screen.
CONSTITUTION: The designated values of display ranges D1 and D2 are stored in a memory 15 in the form of combinations and set in the form of a table. A CPU 14 works in response to the operations of a keyboard 11 and the ranges D1 and D2 are sent successively to a CRT display device 12 based on each designated value and displayed on the same display screen 7 on the device 12. The images 1UWR which can be supplied with operations of a light pen, etc. are displayed at the lower part of the screen 7. Thus, the display range is shifted according to the ON states set by said input operations or enlarged and reduced.
