To enhance the deodorizability by using two methods of an odor diffusion and removal method with air blow and an odor oxidation and decomposition method with ozone when deodorization is performed for clothes and the like by using the deodorizing device, and to provide a control method for shortening the deodorizing period.

In the control method of the deodorizing device which blows air containing ozone from the blowout opening and performs deodorization of curtains, clothes, etc., the control part performs the following steps in order; the first step (T1) of blowing much air by rotating an air blow fan with high speed and generating ozone with an ozone generator, a second step (T2) of blowing less air by rotating the air blow fan with low speed and at the same time generating ozone with the ozone generator continuously, and a third step (T3) of blowing much air by rotating the air blow fan with high speed and reducing the ozone amount from the ozone generator.
