To inhibit a shadow of a shutter from being displayed on a screen.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a control method of a control device 100 for controlling a projector 200 equipped with a shutter mechanism 260 which opens and closes a shutter 263 for shutting off the image light PL. The control device 100 includes the steps of: transmitting the dimming instruction information CR, which shifts a light source 211A to a dimming state, to a first projector 200A when the shutter 263 of a first projector 200A is closed; and transmitting a closing instruction information CM, which shifts the shutter 263 to the closed state, to the first projector 200A when the light source 211A of the first projector 200A shifts to the dimming state based on the dimming indication information CR.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
