Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain generation of black smoke at transition time when accelerated from an operation state in a light load area.
SOLUTION: An EGR valve 3 is set to basic indicating opening by an engine speed, a fuel injection quantity, and an intake air quantity. At accelerator opening transition time or when a variation in the fuel injection quantity exceeds a preset value, a feedforward quantity is calculated according to the variation, and opening of the EGR valve 3 is properly corrected to the accelerator opening transition time or the fuel injection quantity, or the variation per time is gradually changed in the opening direction of the EGR valve 3.
