Title:
CONTROL METHOD OF EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE OF AIR CONDITIONER IN ACCORDANCE WITH EXTERNAL DEW POINT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2969349
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain smell of an evaporator, contrive energy saving and prevent window glass of a motorcar from being clouded, by a method wherein objective value of evaporator temperature is controlled so as to be the same as the dew point temperature of supplying air when the objective value of outlet air temperature is higher than the temperature of the evaporator and the dew point temperature of air, while the same objective value is controlled so as to be the same as the objective value of outlet air when the condition is contrary to this case.
SOLUTION: An evaporator is confirmed whether the same is in wetted condition or dried condition upon the initial period of cooling operation of an air conditioner. When the evaporator is dried but an outlet air temperature objective value TBS is lower than a supplying air dew point temperature TP, the evaporator temperature TV is reduced forcibly to a value lower than the dew point temperature TP to wet the evaporator. In this case, the evaporator temperature TV is controlled so as to be the objective value TBS again. When the evaporator is wetted but the objective value TBS is lower than the dew point temperature TP, the evaporator temperature TV is controlled so as to be the objective value TBS again. According to this method, the evaporator temperature TV is reduced lower than the dew point temperature TP and the evaporator is wetted. According to this cooling operation, the smell of evaporator is prevented and the evaporator temperature is controlled so as to be the objective value whereby energy saving operation can be effected.
