PURPOSE: To eliminate switch operation for the starting and the stop of air- conditioning operation when a hotel guest enters and exits from a guest room and to perform automatic setting of the interior of a room to a comfortable air-conditioning condition when the guest goes to a bed.
CONSTITUTION: Each guest room of a hotel is provided with an operation control device to turn ON and OFF a drive source to a fan coil unit 1 installed to each guest room after entrance and existance of a guest are confirmed, and an operation mode switching device to measure illuminance of the interior of a room and switch the operation mode of the fan coil unit 1 to a preset sleep mode when a state illuminance lower than a preset illuminance is continued for a specified time. The starting or the stop of air-conditioning operation is effected according to entrance or existance of the guest and air-conditioning suitable for sleeping is automatically performed by lighting-OFF or lowering of indoor illuminance.
