PURPOSE: To improve responsive performance of an injection controller, by temporarily ouputting a fuel injecton control pulse of ineffective injection time width or less of an indicator at starting of arithmetic operation of a microcomputer and then resetting the pulse to a pulse width of the arithmetic result.
CONSTITUTION: In a microcomputer 1, a fuel control pulse width τ is obtained from Q=(τ-τv)q, under a condition of Q for injection quantity of an injector, q for fuel injection quantity per unit time and τv for ineffective injection time of the injector. When a time TA, from starting of a crank pulse interruption routine to starting of an output, is τv≤T≤τv is tempoarily output, at a point of time calculation is ended, a pulse width τ on the basis of a calculation result is reset. While if τv≥TA, a fuel injection pulse of width T of TA≤TA, after a time T' in a relation of TA<T'+T", a pulse width T"<τv is temporarily output, and then reset to a pulse width on the basis of the calculation result. In this way, an effect of improvement in responsive quality of a controller, improvement of fuel consumption performance, improvement of operational performance by good timing for start-end of a fuel cut, etc. can be obtained.
