To provide a control method for a heat using device, which performs control of hot water temperature to be supplied based on an operating state.

In the control method for the heat using device 5 constituted by combining a heat source 1, a hot water storage tank unit U including a hot water storage tank 2 and a hot water storage tank control part 3, and a water heater 4, in which the water heater 4 can perform each operation of bath hot water filling operation, additional hot water supply operation and bath automatic operation while separating hot water supply use and bath water use, a hot water storage tank control part 3 acquires setting information for set temperatures of hot water and ON/OFF of the bath hot water filling operation, the additional hot water supply operation and the bath automatic operation, which are set by a user, performs adjustment of the temperature of hot water to be supplied from the hot water storage tank 2 and heating/heating prohibition by an auxiliary heat source, whereby the temperature of hot water to be supplied to the user is controlled. When hot water in the hot water storage tank is supplied in the ON state of bath hot water filling operation or additional hot water operation, the control part 3 instructs prohibition of heating by the auxiliary heat source and controls the hot water temperature to be supplied to the user to a set temperature for bath use.
