Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep quantity of an effective light exposure constant against the fluctuation of the frequency of a light source power supply by assuming time between two pulses before and after a period signal, synchronizing with an alternating power source, to be an effective storage time, and obtaining the quantity of the fluctuation of this time, due to the fluctuation of the light source frequency, and correcting an output signal so as to cancel this quantity of the fluctuation. CONSTITUTION:The transfer pulse B is outputted successively at every standard time l while being synchronizied with a synchronizing signal A, and a pulse interval between the two pulses before and after the signal A is assumed to be the effective storage time (m). The fluctuation of the light source frequency comes into fluctuation of the time (m). At the termination of the time (m), a latch 78 stores the count number N(x) of a counter 74 by the transfer pulse B'. When the light source frequency fluctuates, the number N(x) comes not equal to the count number N(m), which corresponds to the time (m), a CPU has instructed. A subtracter 80 calculates this difference DELTAN. The difference DELTAN coincides with the quantity of the fluctuation of the time (m), accompanied with the fluctuation of the light source frequency. An amplifier 70, the amplification factor of which varies correspondingly to the difference DELTAN, corrects the output signal (o), read out at the standard time l. Thus, an influence that the signal to be inputted to the CPU 48b is influenced by the fluctuation of the light source frequency, is cancelled.
