Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the ejection of a liquid from an evaporator, by providing regulators which are placed in ducts coupled to the top and bottom of a liquefied gas container and directly respond to the pressure in the evaporator. CONSTITUTION:The regulators 3, 5, which directly respond to the pressure in the evaporator 6, are installed a duct 2 for connecting the bottom of the liquefied gas container 1 to the evaporator and in another duct 4 for connecting the top of the container 1 to the evaporator 6, respectively. When the heating temperature in the evaporator 6 abnormally falls or the consumed quantity of gas abnormally increases, the level of liquefied gas introduced into the evaporator 6 rises and the pressure P2 in the space over the liquefied gas in the evaporator 6 drops by the height h of the surface of the liquefied gas. When the pressure P2 abnormally drops, the gas pressure regulator 5 is opened to introduce the gas into the space of the evaporator to raise the pressure P2. As a result, the pressure P1 at the bottom of the evaporator is also raised and the liquid pressure regulator 3 is opened so that the rise in the liquid level in the evaporator 6 is stopped and the ejection of the liquid is prevented.
