CONSTITUTION: It is a machine tool 1 having a servomotor, a feed screw connected to the output shaft of the servomotor, moving bodies 4, 6 connected to the feed screw and moving on a bed, a tool T for machining provided on the moving bodies 4, 6, and an adjusting speed circuit for driving the servomotor with its control, and is the adjusting speed control method of the machine tool 1 that the displacement at the work point of the tool is reduced with the vibration of the moving bodies 4, 6 being restrained, by having the acceleration/ deceleration according to the time related to the proper vibration cycle upto the steady speed of the moving bodies 4, 6 or from the steady speed.
