Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain safe boiler operation by preventing a transient excessive rise in the enthalpy of the fluid at the outlet of the furnace in an once-through boiler.
CONSTITUTION: The temperature 17 of the main stream at the outlet of a boiler is controlled by the volume 9 of the sprayed water from a superheater desuperheating device 6 and the fluid enthalpy 15 of the fluid at the outlet of the furnace is controlled by the flow rate 8 of the fuel.
