To provide a fine bubble particle size control method which allows good and easy control of the particle size of fine bubbles, such as microbubbles and nanobubbles.
When the particle size of fine bubbles contained in liquid is controlled, a liquid is prepared whose gas saturation and surface tension are adjusted in a predetermined range so as to grow fine bubbles, the fine bubbles are generated in the liquid, and an ultrasonic wave of resonance frequency corresponding to a desired upper limit particle size is applied to the liquid. The particle size of the fine bubbles can be controlled in a desired range by the grow of the fine bubbles due to setting the gas saturation and surface tension in the predetermined range and disruption of the fine bubbles by the application of the ultrasonic wave.
