To weigh and dispense a liquid accurately by providing a microprocessor being programmed to control the sucking and dispensing operation of a pipetter by pushing depressing a series of programming keys in the pipetter.
When a charged electronic pipetter 100 is taken out from a charging bas 13, the electronic pipetter 100 enters into manual mode. After desired sucking and dispensing speeds are selected by a specified operation of a programming key 1, a fixed pipet 8 is immersed into a liquid medium in order to suck the liquid. When the upper button of an operating button 7 is depressed, the liquid is sucked into the pipet 8 and then it is taken out therefrom. When the pipet 8 is aimed at a texture culturing schale and the lower button of the operating button 7 is depressed, the sucked liquid medium is distributed to the glass vessel. The excess liquid remaining in the pipet 8 can be pushed out by depressing the lower button of the operating button 7 twice.
