Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft system capable of measuring against theft of a projection type video display device with a simple operation.SOLUTION: The projection type video display device which includes a first storage region for storing a setting value having a specific function of a projection type video display device 101 as a normal value, a second storage region for storing a changed value with respect to the setting value during a normal operation of the projection type video display device, and a processor 102 for comparing the normal value to the changed value, and limiting the use of the projection type video display device when the values do not match each other, includes recording the setting value of the specific function of the projection type video display device 101 in a memory 103 at a first timing, and limiting the use of the projection type video display device 101 when the processor 102 detects that the setting value is changed.
