To provide a control method and its equipment of a rotary magnetic type polyphase synchronous motor in which the allowably value of fixing precision of a position detector to the rotary magnet type polyphase synchronous motor is increased, a phase correction value is automatically calculated, and controllability is excellent.
A position detector 2 detecting a magnetic position of a rotary magnet type polyphase synchronous motor 1 and a driving equipment 43 driving the rotary magnet type polyphase synchronous motor are installed. The rotary magnet type polyphase synchronous motor 1 on which the position detector 2 is fixed is driven with the driving equipment 43. After the rotary magnet type polyphase synchronous motor 1 reaches a constant speed, a current and a driving voltage of the rotary magnet type polyphase synchronous motor 1 are measured. By using the current, the driving voltage, constants of the rotary magnet type polyphase synchronous motor 1, and the above constant speed, the phase correction value of a two axes coordinate system which is used in the control based on the fixing error of the a position detector 2 and a two axes coordinate system in which polyphase AC coordinate system is converted is calculated. The rotor position of the rotary magnet type polyphase synchronopus motor 1 from the position detector 2 is corrected by using the phase correction value.
