Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a server, a program, and the server capable of promoting the purchase of an item in a game by utilizing a mechanism of notification related to item purchasing.SOLUTION: The method includes: a step for, when receiving a provision request of a first item which is usable on a game from a communication terminal 2-1 corresponding to first user identification information, notifying a communication terminal 2-2 corresponding to second user identification information related to the first user identification information of acquisition information on the first item; a step for, when the communication terminal 2-2 is notified of the acquisition information, notifying a third communication terminal 2 corresponding to third user identification information related to the second user identification information of the acquisition information on the first item; and a step for providing a second item usable on a game together with the first item to the communication terminal 2-2 by which the third communication terminal 2 has been notified of the acquisition information on the first item.
