Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp a combustion amount on a post-combustion stoker by measuring characteristics of post-combustion stage gas extracted from an upper space of the post-combustion stoker, optimize an amount of primary combustion air supplied to the post-combustion stoker based on it, and stabilize the finish of incineration ash and the characteristics of the post-combustion stage gas extracted from the upper space of the post-combustion stoker.
SOLUTION: In this stoker type incinerator 1 provided with a stoker 4 composed of a drying stoker 4a, a combustion stoker 4b and a post-combustion stoker 4c, the post-combustion stage gas G2 generated on the post-combustion stoker 4c is extracted out of the incinerator and blown into the incinerator as recirculated gas. One or more of gas concentrations among the concentrations of O2, CO, CO2, HCl and SO2 contained in the post-combustion stage gas G2 extracted from the upper space of the post-combustion stoker 4 is/are measured, and the amount of the primary combustion air A1 supplied to the post- combustion stoker 4c is controlled so that a value of the measured gas concentration coincides with a set value.
