Abstract:
To provide an improved control method and control system of an automatic transmission for a vehicle, in which a master clutch frictionally engaged by centrifugal force is employed.
In the control method/system, the power transmission system 10 for a vehicle includes an engine 18, a speed change gear 12 and a centrifugal clutch 20 for drive-connecting an output member 136 of the engine to an input shaft 28 of the speed change gear, at the start of the vehicle. An output signal 56 is provided, which includes a system controller 50 and controls engine speed ES, based on a closed loop.
