Abstract:
To provide a control method and system for a controlling element in a vehicle that make an automatic test preannouncement prior to an automatic test of a controlling element.
An electrical operating signal to the controlling element in a vehicle is generated as a function of at least one set point, and when a given running state is present, an active automatic test is carried out, during which an output signal for operating the controlling element is output. When the given running state is created, before the start of the automatic test, an operating signal of a given value is output to the controlling element, which is thereafter returned again to an initial position thereof.
