Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method capable of effectively and durably preventing decomposition of waste of sanitary articles and occurrence of an undesirable smell caused by the decomposition and controlling microorganisms in the waste of sanitary articles and deodorizing it without requiring handling of a liquid.
CONSTITUTION: A solid agent obtained by supporting α-bromocinnamic aldehyde on a carrier is packed with an air-permeable film to give a material, which is attached to the back of a cover of a container for waste of sanitary articles by using double-coated tacky tape to generate vapor of α-bromocinnamic aldehyde.
