Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop an electromotive servo motor in an emergency within as short a time and a distance as possible when the supply of power to a motor control unit for controlling the driving of the electromotive servo motor is stopped and to also eliminate the damage of the internal circuit of the motor control unit at the time of stop of the electromotive servo motor in an emergency in an electromotive molding machine using the electromotive servo motor as a mold opening and closing derive source.
SOLUTION: A motor control unit 5 has a serve amplifying part 11, a dynamic break control part 12, an internal power supply part 13 and a changeover control part 14 and, by the arrival of the emergency stop command from a host control unit 1, the changeover control part 14 uses the power supply voltage remaining in the internal power supply part 3 at first so as to perform the emergency stop control of an electromotive servo motor 3 by the servo amplifying part 11 and subsequently stops the operation of the servo amplifying part 11 when the output voltage of the internal power supply part 13 lowers to a predetermined voltage or less and also starts the dynamic break control part 12 to perform the emergency stop control of the electromotive servo motor 3.
