Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio/video platform(AVP) which performs as a master controller to interconnect other AV devices and is capable of integrated control of all AV devices connected to the AVP.
SOLUTION: The audio/video platform(AVP) for a system which processes a video signal is provided with a digital communication port for transfer of a control signal and a data signal between the AVP and a first video device, an analog video communication port for transfer of a video signal between a second video device and the AVP, an infrared transmitter for transmission of an infrared command, a digital video communication port which transmits a control command to the first video device through the digital communication port, and a control processor which is connected to the infrared transmitter to transmit a control command to the second video device through the infrared transmitter.
