Subsequently, each control operation device with priority outputs a signal received with passengers in the cage taking refuge once in the safe story 27, thereafter the elevator, suspending passenger service and directly moving to the air contaminated story 28, discharges air, transmitted in the lift path and contaminated, to the outside of a building by actuating the ventilating port 26 in the roof of the cage 25 being associated with the large capacity ventilating fan 21 in the uppermost part of the lift path 24 with a door opened.
