Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for minimizing electrical energy consumed by a pump during a process of filling or draining a tank, the method making it possible to save electrical energy consumption across the entire range of operation of the pump and to operate the pump at its optimum point.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a control method for minimizing electrical energy consumed during a process of filling or draining a tank (R) implemented using pumping equipment (EP) comprising at least one pump in the presence of a disturbing flow (Q) exiting or entering the tank. An optimum speed (ω) of the pumping equipment that minimizes the electrical energy consumed by the pumping equipment is determined during the process of filling or draining the tank.
