PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency and safety of loading and its related operations by a method wherein on the upper deck of a liquid tanker is provided a control room so as to make concentrated monitoring of loading operations and states of cargos.

CONSTITUTION: On the upper deck of a liquid taker 1 is provided a control room 3 where there are arranged a loading pipe port 4a for the liquid cargo, a connecting terminal 11 for a seal gas pipe 10 of a tank 2, a controller for a loading pump 8, a monitor for the internal state of the tank, etc. Hence, special protective hatches are not required for the loading pipe port 4a and the seal gas connecting terminal 11. The loading and its related operations are controlled concentratedly in the control room 3.
