PURPOSE: To prevent the clogging of a piping by measuring the sand content in a sand pumping-up pipe by a sand concentration meter and adjusting the quantity of the driving water and the water supplied from a water supply piping, water pressure and the quantity of mixed air, on the basis of the sand content.
CONSTITUTION: The sand content is measured by a pressure difference type sand concentration meter 8 installed in the sand pumping-up pipe 7 of a jet pump. When the value becomes over a prescribed value, the opening degree of a jet water valve 21 is increased, and each quantity of the jet water supplied from a jet water nozzle 25 and the supplied water into a receiving pipe 4 is increased, and the opening degree of an air valve 28 is increased. Further, the pressure and quantity of the driving water are reduced by adjusting the opening degree of a jet supplied water valve 16. Therefore, the abrasion and clogging of a piping can be prevented.
