Abstract:

To provide a method allowing the design of each system element for achieving the control stability of a vehicle as target performance, and to provide its designing program.

Target values for force generated in a front wheel and a rear wheel and a timing for generating the force are set from a target value for the frequency response characteristics of a yaw rate and each system element of the vehicle regarding the yawing and transverse motion of the vehicle including the motion in a rolling direction is modelled with a model having a characteristic value and a time constant regarding the force generated in the front wheel and the rear wheel. To achieve the target values, the characteristic value and the time constant for each system element model are adjusted to determine a value for each system element to be designed.
