PURPOSE: To monitor a giving and receiving data between a peripheral equipment with a monitoring equipment for modem interface by outputting a transmission/reception signal and a timing signal between a computer and the peripheral equipment.
CONSTITUTION: An input/output data from an input/output part 16 at a computer 27 is given to and received from the peripheral equipment as a base band signal of bit series through an interface control part 14, that is operated with the timing indicated by a timing control part 17, passing through transmission lines 12 and 13. The transmission and the reception data on the transmission lines 12 and 13 and the timing signal from the timing control part 17 are converted to the transmission data TD, the reception data RD, a transmission timing TXC and a reception timing RXC at a monitor interface part 20 and are outputted to monitor terminals 25 and 26. Therefore, monitoring can be performed using a regular monitoring equipment 8 for the modem interface.
