Abstract:
To make compatible both contrary elements of the acceleration of the rotation of a started internal combustion engine and the stabilization of the rotation.SOLUTION: A control system of an internal combustion engine comprises: the internal combustion engine; a flywheel for imparting inertia to a rotating shaft of the internal combustion engine; and a clutch mechanism interposed between the rotating shaft of the internal combustion engine and the flywheel, connecting the rotating shaft and the flywheel when starting the stopped internal combustion engine, separating the flywheel from the rotating shaft of the internal combustion engine when a rotational speed of the internal combustion engine is raised to a certain degree or higher, and connecting the rotating shaft of the internal combustion engine and the flywheel once again after the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine is raised.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
