Abstract:
To provide a control system capable of protecting a program code of an external ROM.
The control system is provided with the external ROM 800 storing the program code and a microcontroller 700 carrying out a reading process of the program code in the external ROM800. The enciphered program code is stored in the external ROM 800, and the microcontroller 700 deciphers the enciphered program code and uses it. The microcontroller 700 uses an enciphered address signal when reading the program code of the external ROM 800, and the external ROM 800 changes and stores the program code in accordance with the enciphered address from the microcontroller.
