To control a refrigerator always stably to condense the whole quantity of a cold medium in a discharge condenser 3, uninfluenced by environmental conditions such as a seawater temperature and operating conditions of the refrigerator without causing a sudden rise in an operation cost or an equipment cost.
This control system for the refrigerator is provided with a means 7-1 for acquiring the discharge pressure of the cold medium by a compressor 2; a means 7-2 for computing a theoretical condensing temperature for condensing the cold medium in the discharge condenser 3 based on the discharge pressure of the cold medium; a means 7-3 for acquiring an actual temperature after condensing the cold medium by the discharge condenser 3; and a means 7-4 for regulating the discharge pressure of the cold medium by the compressor 2 so that the actual temperature of the cold medium after condensed is a lower value than the computed theoretical condensing temperature of the cold medium.
