Title:
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR REGULATING OUTPUT TORQUE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3390642
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for regulating engine torque as a function of the input torque capacity of each of components that make up a drive train.
SOLUTION: An engine control system supplies an engine fuel supply rate EFR (120, 122) equal to a larger one out of the first engine fuel supply rate EFRGR for restraining the engine torque obtained by the maximum input torque capacity of an existing engaging gear ratio of a transmission, and the second engine fuel supply rate EFRDEF for restraining the engine torque obtained by the nominal input torque capacity of the transmission.
