Abstract:
PURPOSE:To drive a reluctance motor with a servo with controlling performance equivalent to a synchronous motor by coupling the vector controls of an induction motor and the synchronous motor. CONSTITUTION:The rotating angle of a rotor core of a reluctance motor 1 is detected by a position detector 13. A 2-phase sinusoidal wave generator 12 generates a 2-phase sinusoidal wave corresponding to the rotary angle of a rotor by a signal from a position detector 13. Armature current command multipliers 6, 7 form armature current commands -ialphaa, -ibetaa by the output of a torque command generator 10 and a sinusoidal signal ealpha, and inversion signal ebeta. An exciting current command multipliers 8, 9 form exciting current commands ialpham, ibetam by the output of a field control command generator 11 and the sinusoidal signals ealpha, ebeta. Adders 4, 5 respectively form composite current commands Ialpha, Ibeta of armature current command and exciting current command. Accordingly, the exciting currents ialpham, ibetam and armature currents ialphaa, ibetaa amplitude-controlled are supplied to the motor 1.
