To provide a control system of a ship capable of maintaining a planing state at a relatively low speed.SOLUTION: A control system of a ship has: a throttle opening adjustment part 26 for adjusting a throttle opening; a determination part for determining whether or not a hull 13 enters a planing state; a setting part for setting a planing mode which maintains the planing state; and a control part for controlling the throttle opening adjustment part 26 so that the hull 13 maintains the planing state even if the hull 13 slows down when the planing mode is set and it is determined that the hull 13 enters the planing state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
