To provide for a control unit a console panel which is suitable to a display unit provided in the control unit and controls a target device without preparing operation information fit to the control unit in the target device.
When a panel element of display data for remote control which are transmitted from a DVC 100 being the target device to a DTV 110 being the control unit includes panel data specifying information, an image regarding display data obtained by synthesizing real data obtained through a network 2 and display data sent from the DVC 100 is displayed, and then display data are obtained from a device etc., different from the DVC 100 without storing a large amount of display data corresponding to display units having different resolution into the DVC 100 to provide a console panel which is fit to the display unit provided in the DTV 110 to the DTV 110.
