Abstract:
To provide a steering system capable of suppressing understeer more effectively than the conventional art.
The steering system comprises a steering angle transmission ratio varying means 33 of a front wheel 14 with respect to the steering angle of a steering wheel 31, and a distribution ratio varying means 20 of a driving force of a driving source to the front wheel 14 and a rear wheel 15. When the understeer is detected, the steering angle transmission ratio is reduced and the reduction amount is corrected according to the driving force distribution ratio, thereby enabling the utilization of tire performance of the front wheel 14 close to the limit.
