PURPOSE: To perform smooth sequence shifting by permitting the selection of sequence more than prepared switches, making the same operation in each sequency executable by common routines, and causing the slope change of the output when changing output adjustment by switching.
CONSTITUTION: A control system for a welding machine having a control means controlling the output of a welding machine by comparing output adjusting elements, output adjusting reference voltage and output feedback voltage. The control means is constituted of a digital arithmetic circuit such as a microcomputer and ≥2 switching circuits are provided in order to assign desired sequence as a combination of switching signals. The switching signals of the switching circuits are inputted to the digital airthmetic circuit, and the digital data by the combination of the switching signals are compared and collated with the stored data. A flag shown by the coincided storage data is set, and the control sequence procedures are successively selected by referring to this flag.
