Abstract:

To provide an entry/exit control system capable of controlling a person who enters or exits by using existing facilities and inexpensively authenticating biological information of a registered person.

A CPU 113 starts up an application program for face recognition upon authentication of entry/exit. The CPU 113 checks a face image taken by a photographing part 111 and the registered face image recorded in a memory 114 and when above them are matched, writes a flag, as success of the face recognition, into a non-contact IC tip 1121. A person to be authenticated is allowed to enter/exit to/from a controlled area A1 by holding a portable terminal 11, wherein data of entry/exit permission and the flag as success are written, over a reader 12.
