Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system capable of surely controlling a device to be controlled at the proper time while reducing a user's load.
SOLUTION: This control system comprises a cellular phone 2 having a position detecting part 11 for detecting the present position on the basis of a GPS signal Sg and outputting position data Dp for the present position and a radio communication part 12 for transmitting the position data Dp outputted by the position detecting part 11 through a public line network; a storage part 23 for associating a control signal Sc for controlling the device to be controlled 40 with a prescribed area and storing it as associated data; and control parts 22 and 24 for receiving the position data Dp transmitted by the radio communication part 12 to specify the present position of the cellular phone 2 on the basis of the received position data Dp, and outputting, when the specified present position belongs to the prescribed area, the control signal Sc associated with the prescribed area by the associated data to the device to be controlled 40.
